The programme is designed for those who have interests in
the area of developing applications for the mobile devices
such as a mobile phone or PDA. Students will be trained in
understanding the concepts of emerging technologies in
mobile computing and development of applications to be
run on mobile devices.
The Mobile Applications Technology focuses on the wireless and communication
technology and qualifies student for a career in application development for the
mobile devices such as phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs).The course
prepares student on both the theories and applications on wireless applications
development that will enable them to provide feasible mobile solutions for the
infocomm industries.
The course also equips the student with the integration skills of IT,
telecommunications and media technologies.This will enable student to develop
information for distributed application and its communication in the most
efficient manner the latest technology.
